Hugo A. Marrero, Jr., CFS®* is the President of Marrero Wealth Management, LLC and a Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS®*). As an Investment Advisory Representative, he has been faithfully serving clients for over 35 years, providing tailored financial strategies that prioritize risk mitigation and wealth optimization.

Mr. Marrero earned his Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS®) designation from the Institute of Business & Finance (IBF), a credential held by fewer than 1% of advisors in the U.S. The CFS®* program includes over 135 hours of graduate-level training in mutual funds, portfolio construction, investment strategy, and risk management—equipping advisors with advanced tools to make informed, research-based recommendations.

A graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Mr. Marrero holds multiple securities licenses, including Series 6, 7, 22, 63, and 65. He is Life, Health, and Variable Annuity licensed with the State of Louisiana Department of Insurance and provides investment advisory services nationwide.
Mr. Marrero is partnered with Kestra Financial and is a member of the Financial Services Institute and the Institute of Business & Finance.

With extensive experience in portfolio design and risk management, Mr. Marrero specializes in structuring investment portfolios for individuals, corporations, and trusts, aligning financial strategies with specific objectives and market conditions. He has guided numerous business owners through exit strategies, including sales and mergers, and has provided estate tax planning solutions to help clients efficiently transfer wealth to their heirs, including those with special needs.

At Marrero Wealth Management, LLC, Mr. Marrero leads with the core values of Honesty, Integrity, and Excellence—principles he upholds in both his professional and personal life. He is devoted to his family and faith and actively supports his church and the Cypress Springs Prayer Center, a Mercedarian ministry dedicated to caring for the sick and terminally ill.

Jackie Rodriguez is a dedicated operations and client services professional with extensive experience in financial services and office management. A Baton Rouge native, Jackie has been streamlining operations, optimizing processes, and enhancing client experiences for over 10 years. She brings exceptional organization, process improvement, and a client-first mindset to every role she takes on. Jackie is also licensed in Life & Health Insurance, allowing her to support clients even more fully as they navigate their financial and protection planning.

Beyond her professional work, Jackie has a deep passion for service and outreach. She has helped lead Vacation Bible School mission trips to Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Germany, and other communities in need—driven by a lifelong commitment to giving back. Having lived in Puerto Rico for two years, she embraces diverse cultures and values meaningful global experiences.

Outside the office, Jackie enjoys traveling with her husband, exploring new destinations, finding great local coffee, and creating memories together. A proud LSU fan, she’s also learned to love Texas football—thanks to her husband’s allegiance. Geaux Tigers & Hook ’em Horns!
